• Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

ADHD is a common condition that can affect focus, organization, and daily functioning. Many children, teens, and adults struggle with symptoms such as distractibility, restlessness, or difficulty managing tasks — but with the right support, people with ADHD can thrive.

At The Right Mind Psychiatric Services, we understand how challenging it can be to find effective, safe treatment options. That’s why we have a clear policy regarding ADHD care:

⚠️ Important Information About ADHD Treatment

    • We are not accepting new ADHD clients without documentation of a formal diagnosis from a licensed neuropsychologist.

    • Online self-assessments or therapy-only evaluations are not sufficient.

    • In some circumstances, we may continue ADHD treatment for existing clients if it is clinically appropriate. This is always at the discretion of the provider.

    What We Offer

Even if medication is not the right fit, or documentation isn’t available yet, we are still here to help:

    • Discussion of non-medication strategies to support focus, sleep, and mood.

    • Exploring whether other mental health concerns — such as anxiety, depression, or trauma — may be affecting attention.

    • Guidance on next steps, including referrals for proper ADHD evaluation if needed.

    Moving Forward

Our goal is always to provide safe, evidence-based, and personalized care. If you already have documentation of ADHD, please reach out to discuss whether treatment at our practice is the right fit for you. If not, we can help connect you with the resources to get the answers you need.
